CHAIRMAN WONTUMI IN A CRITICAL CONDITION

The Chairman of the Asante Region New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chairman Wontumi as affectionately called has been seen in a picture circulating on social media, precisely Facebook and Twitter respectively. Chairman Antwi Boasiako is seen on a sick bed with a pale body with niddle and plaster to his wrist.

The question most people are asking is when did he get admitted at the hospital? The alleged comments he made last week with regards to the Asantehene Otumfo Nana Osei-Tutu 11 stating that he has his own kingdom, military and police in the mist of some Asante chiefs has raised eyebrows leaving the people of Asante aggravated by his comments.

The summons for Chairman Wontumi to appear before the Asante Traditional council is still in expectation, but with his current disposition and condition appearing at Manhyia palace is in doubt, even though the New Patriotic Party have sent an entourage to apologize on his behalf we are not sure whether the apology has been accepted by the Asantehene Otumfo Nana Osei-Tutu 11 and the Traditional council.
