The Municipal Chief Executive of La-Nkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly Hon. Jennifer Dede Agyabeng last Sunday 7, April of 2024 responded to questions from NPP members. Top of the question was the CHURCH OF PENTICOST and their permit to build a church for God.
Even though, it’s not certain the grievances of the Elder of the Church of Pentecost who asked the question, It is alleged that Hon. Dede goofed in responding to the question he asked. Consequently, some members of the church of PENTICOST are requesting for an apology from the MCE or they will respond in equal measure by preventing the NPP from the church. The muscles with which some of the members of the church of PENTICOST are requesting for an apology pushed Hon. David Kwatia the former Assembly Member for TATANAA NORTH electoral area to respond.
Hon. Kwatia stated since NPP is in a reconciliation period, the MCE should be forgiven since she is a Krobo and that Twi or the Akan language escaped her and was misinterpreted by the Elder Joshua Asamoah Darko.
This has raised a feud between some members and are asking whether Hon. Kwatia is the PA to the MCE? Even though the reverse is true, members are still insisting for an apology from the MCE.
Amankwa, a polling station executive stated that J.K. Author aka W.O. , Chairman Addai Nti, Amankwa, Choro Adams, Arymyaw and a fair coloured man has been sacked from working at the Assembly and further alleged it was the machination of the MCE.
The request to build the PENTICOST CHURCH on the PENTICOST land requires permit from the Assembly and Hon. Kwatia was of the view that there should be deliberation from the church of PENTICOST and the La-Nkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly, saying patience is needed in such matters.
We wait in earnest for an apology from the MCE since Hon. Kwatia stated “the beauty of an apology is in the freewill”.
